As Israel expands its ground operations to eradicate Hamas, all hospitals in northern Gaza Strip have ceased operations, resulting in a series of deaths including premature infants.
According to AFP on the 13th (local time), the Gaza Strip Ministry of Health claimed that amid fierce clashes between the Israeli military and Hamas, fuel ran out, causing one premature infant and two other patients to die at Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest medical facility.
Yousef Abu Rishi, Deputy Minister of Health of the Gaza Strip, said, "Since the power outage a few days ago, six premature infants and nine other patients have died."
