Geumcheon-gu Doksan 4-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee Hosts Autumn-themed 'Chrysanthemum Flower Exhibition'... Over 500 Chrysanthemum Pots Grown by Doksan 4-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee on Display
Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that the "Chrysanthemum Flower Exhibition" embracing autumn will be held at the Doksan 4-dong Community Center from November 9 to 17.
The Doksan 4-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee (Chairman Jegal Musang) decorated the Doksan 4-dong Community Center so that residents can appreciate the beauty of chrysanthemum flowers and feel the autumn atmosphere.
The Doksan 4-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee will exhibit about 500 chrysanthemum pots and photos documenting chrysanthemum cultivation activities from the 1st to the 3rd floor of the community center. A photo zone is also set up so that residents can create memories with the chrysanthemum flowers. Additionally, two sessions of a "Mind Therapy" class using horticulture will be held, and chrysanthemum tea will be provided free of charge to visitors of the exhibition.
The Doksan 4-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee has been cultivating chrysanthemum seedlings on the rooftop of the community center since April. The carefully nurtured chrysanthemums bloomed in November, leading to this exhibition.
Jegal Musang, Chairman of the Doksan 4-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee, said, "I feel rewarded to be able to bring small joys to local residents through this exhibition."
Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, stated, "We will continue to make efforts and provide support to activate residents' autonomy activities," and added, "We hope many people will participate in the autumn-embracing 'Chrysanthemum Flower Exhibition.'"
