LG Electronics Conducts Heating Inspection of System Air Conditioners at Nationwide CSAT Test Sites

Inspection at over 250 locations nationwide by the 15th
Emergency personnel deployment on the day of the CSAT

LG Electronics announced on the 12th that it will conduct air conditioner inspections for the heating and cooling systems in exam halls ahead of the 2024 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) scheduled for the 16th.

Service engineers from LG Electronics’ subsidiary Hi-EM Solutec have been performing the 'LG Electronics BEST Care Service' for maintenance and repair of system air conditioners at over 250 CSAT exam sites nationwide from the 1st to the 15th. They check for any malfunctions in the air conditioners. Upon visiting the exam halls, they inspect the outdoor unit fans and check for overheating. They also inspect the system air conditioners inside classrooms to maintain appropriate heating temperatures.

On the day of the CSAT, personnel capable of emergency dispatch will be assigned to regional centers. A hotline will be established with schools to ensure immediate response if the system air conditioners installed in the exam halls malfunction.

Since 2010, Hi-EM Solutec has been providing inspection services to ensure that examinees can take tests in a comfortable environment. They conduct the 'Love Sharing Campaign' once or twice a year, visiting special schools and nursing hospitals to clean and inspect system air conditioner filters. Additionally, service engineers produce safety umbrellas to prevent children’s accidents on rainy days and donate them to local children’s centers.

Yu Gwang-yeol, CEO of Hi-EM Solutec, said, "We hope that examinees achieve good results in a comfortable environment," adding, "We will continue to practice customer experience through differentiated service and technological expertise."
