Seongbuk-gu, Illegal Banners and Unauthorized Garbage Dumping Reported via Smartphone

Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) is actively promoting the 'Seoul Smart Complaint Reporting' app, which allows residents to quickly and conveniently report inconveniences in daily life all in one place.

The Seoul Smart Complaint Reporting service enables users to report issues such as illegal parking, damaged sidewalk blocks, and illegal dumping, as well as safety hazards, via their smartphones. The advantage is that citizens can report various inconveniences they experience anytime and anywhere using their smartphones.

Reports submitted by citizens are received by the Seoul '120 Dasan Call Center' and promptly handled by the relevant departments. The processing status and results can also be checked through the app.

Through the Seoul Smart Complaint Reporting app, users can report a wide range of daily inconveniences including illegal parking, violations of disabled parking zones, road issues, illegal dumping, construction site safety, illegal advertisements, street obstructions, street vendor crackdowns, abandoned animals, noise, and suggestions or proposals. In 2023, 22,174 complaints received by the district were reported via this app, with an average processing time of less than 24 hours after receipt.

Lee Seung-ro, Mayor of Seongbuk-gu, stated, “We will utilize the Smart Complaint Reporting app so that Seongbuk residents can resolve inconveniences more easily and conveniently and actively participate in district administration.”
