Humedics Reports 11.4 Billion KRW Operating Profit in 3Q, Up 45% YoY

Growth of Aesthetic, CMO, and Cosmetics Businesses

Humedix announced on the 10th that its individual-based operating profit for the third quarter of this year was 11.4 billion KRW, a 45% increase compared to the same period last year.

During the same period, sales grew by 24% to 39.7 billion KRW, and net profit increased by 16% to 7.2 billion KRW.


Humedix explained that strong performance was driven by growth in the aesthetic business centered on Elavie fillers, contract manufacturing (CMO), and cosmetics business.


The aesthetic business saw increased demand from domestic and overseas medical tourists following the reopening of economic activities. The company noted that filler exports to South America, including Brazil, surged following growth in the Chinese filler market. In the CMO business, orders for specialized pharmaceuticals such as new vial injectables increased, and overseas sales of cosmetics expanded.


Operating profit showed favorable results as utilization rates and profitability improved due to increased sales and orders of core product lines.


Humedix expects to continue its growth trend in the fourth quarter with the upward momentum in the aesthetic sector. With filler product approval in Russia, the company plans to expand its overseas export markets alongside existing ones in China and Brazil, while maintaining steady performance through increased orders for specialized pharmaceuticals and ophthalmic CMO products.


Additionally, the company plans to establish a new growth foundation through the first domestic DMF registration of heparin sodium, domestic clinical trials of PN mesofillers, and expanded overseas registration of Elavie fillers, which are new growth engines.


Jinhwan Kim, CEO of Humedix, stated, "We have recorded solid performance with continuous growth in every business area each quarter," adding, "To further strengthen Humedix's position in the global aesthetic market, we will pursue multifaceted efforts including expanding domestic and international sales networks, launching new products, and broadening sales channels."
