Until now, companies faced many difficulties as they had to individually secure demonstration sites and search for public institution demonstration support projects, including those by Gwangju City, to test the stability and performance of innovative technology products they developed.

To activate the demonstration of corporate innovative technologies, Gwangju City plans to unify the support window under the Future Industry General Office and provide tailored support through cooperation between the city and related organizations, offering demonstration sites mainly in the public sector and linking with existing demonstration support projects.

Kim Gwang-jin, Deputy Mayor for Culture and Economy of Gwangju City, stated, “To create the ‘Testbed Gwangju Model,’ where the entire city becomes a testing ground for innovative technologies driving future industry growth, we plan to continuously expand the budget related to demonstration support at the commercialization stage despite difficult financial conditions.” He added, “Through the One-Stop Support Center for Corporate Demonstration, we will spare no effort to support companies with innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) to easily conduct demonstrations anytime and anywhere in Gwangju.”
