National Treasure Attends Meeting with Ukrainian Government Delegation: Discussing Restoration Projects and Commercialization

Comprehensive logistics company Gukbo announced on the 9th that it attended a meeting hosted by the Korea-Ukraine New Building Association to discuss post-war reconstruction projects and commercialization efforts for rebuilding.

The event was attended by a Ukrainian delegation of about 20 members from central and local governments, including the Infrastructure Development Department, Vyshhorod City, Kyiv City, Bucha City, Uman City, and Vinnytsia Oblast. Key attendees included Chairman Yang Gu Lee, Chairman Yang Yong-ho of the Eurasian Business Association, Chairman Park Jae-chun, Chairman Kim Deok-ryong, Gukbo CEO Park Chan-ha, SY CEO Jeon Pyung-yeol, former Incheon Mayor Ahn Sang-soo, former UN Ambassador Oh Jun, Gangnam District Council Floor Leader Son Min-gi, officials from the Ukrainian Embassy, and representatives from TASS. The meeting focused on understanding post-war reconstruction projects and discussions on Ukraine’s post-war market entry, including presentations on cooperation between the two countries and major projects.

The meeting discussed visions such as positioning as a platform leader for realizing the miracle of the Dnipro River, missions including post-war reconstruction and humanitarian support cooperation platforms for Ukraine, value creation through openness, transparency, and global orientation, and building a global platform. Strategies such as successful change management, establishing differentiated competitiveness, and comprehensive approaches linked to culture and humanitarian support were also deliberated. The company explained that this meeting was considered meaningful as it allowed for more concrete discussions on reconstruction projects linked to commercialization compared to previous forums.

In May, Gukbo signed an MOU with the Kirovohrad Oblast Chamber of Commerce and Industry and committed to supporting local refugees with daily necessities. In July, it signed an MOU with Ukraine’s Technopark FlightCity 4.0 and the Eurasian Business Association to collaborate on post-war reconstruction projects and the establishment of a local corporation. Last month, Gukbo also participated in the Ukraine Post-War Reconstruction Forum held at the National Assembly, where it helped establish global governance for reconstruction projects.

A Gukbo official stated, “Gukbo, a Korean company, will continue to actively participate in meetings, forums, and conferences related to Ukraine’s reconstruction to understand local trends and circumstances and become a company that can provide practical help for rebuilding.” He added, “We will continue detailed discussions in close cooperation with stakeholders to ensure that commercialization becomes a reality.”
