On the 1st, the bank employee witnessed a victim at Shinhan Bank Suwan Branch withdrawing 28.5 million KRW in cash after being deceived by a text message promising a low-interest refinancing loan.


Suspecting the tone and behavior, the employee reported it to the police, preventing voice phishing damage.


A police official urged, "Recently, numerous voice phishing crimes impersonating refinancing loans and investigative agencies have occurred in Gwangsan-gu, so caution is necessary."
