"Pay Attention to Socially Vulnerable Groups"
The Korea Federation of SMEs announced that on the 9th, it invited a delegation of about 10 members, including athletes belonging to the Korean American Disabled Sports Association who participated in the 43rd National Disabled Sports Festival, to the Federation's office in Yeouido for a meeting with Chairman Kim Ki-moon. The National Disabled Sports Festival was held from the 3rd to the 8th.
Chairman Kim stated, "As an organization representing small and medium enterprises (SMEs), who are relatively disadvantaged in the market economy, the Korea Federation of SMEs continuously strives to solve social vulnerability issues through the SME Love Sharing Foundation. We deeply support the athletes of the Korean American Disabled Sports Association who have overcome disabilities and stood tall, and the SME sector will always pay attention to socially vulnerable groups through various channels," he emphasized.
In response, the Korean American Disabled Sports Association expressed that the support and encouragement from the SME sector gave strength to the athletes and delegation, and presented a plaque of appreciation to Chairman Kim.
Prior to the meeting, on the 5th, the delegation visited Novasys, a first-tier vendor of Samsung Electronics DX Division, to tour cutting-edge facilities such as AI-integrated smart factory systems, manufacturing processes, and unmanned logistics systems. On the same day, they also visited the headquarters of Home&Shopping, a home shopping channel dedicated to SMEs, providing an opportunity to enhance their understanding of sales channels for SME products.
