The Korea Golf Course Management Association finalized its budget for next year through the 2024 business plan and budget general meeting.

On the 8th, the association held a general meeting at the Haevichi Hotel in Seogwipo, Jeju Island, to discuss various current issues. They adopted a new slogan, "Keep Growing, Benefit All," which means "continuous growth to benefit everyone." The association decided to unite efforts to resolve pressing issues in the golf industry, including the improvement of property tax surcharges and individual consumption tax on member golf courses, research on flexible working hours for golf courses, waste regulation improvements, and climate change response measures.


The 2024 budget was approved at 4.6858 billion KRW, a 2.2% increase compared to the previous year. Kim Do-jin, CEO of Dongnae Benest, and Lim No-won, CEO of Turning Point, were elected as auditors of the association, filling the vacant positions. Chairman Park Chang-yeol stated, "Having passed through the COVID-19 period, we will focus all our efforts on discovering new missions that look toward the future and creating a stable management environment for member companies," adding, "We will play a pivotal role not only in the development of the industry but also in protecting public health and the leisure sports industry."
