Agricultural corporation 'Udon MPP' (CEO Shin Seung-hoon and Eom Ji-hye) has donated 10 million won in scholarships to the Andong Scholarship Foundation (co-chairmen Kwon Ki-chang and Kim Won) this year, following last year.
Since its establishment in November 2015, Udon MPP has built a solid business foundation through certifications such as eco-friendly business site certification in 2016, designation to use the Andong city certified brand 'Andong Cham Ma Dwaeji' trademark, rural convergence industry and HACCP certification. Currently, it continues its growth trend with annual sales of 20 billion won.
The company also consistently carries out social contribution activities for the underprivileged in the Andong area. Following a commendation from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, it received the Special Proud Citizen Award in 2023 for contributions to regional community development on Gyeongbuk Residents' Day.
CEO Shin Seung-hoon of Udon MPP said, “With the philosophy that the community prospers when businesses and education thrive, we dream of a century-long plan to develop Udon MPP into an honest and global eco-friendly livestock company, and we will also support the cultivation of excellent local talent.”
Mayor Kwon Ki-chang expressed, “We appreciate the sincere support sent to the Andong Scholarship Foundation despite the difficult livestock environment, and the precious donation will be used carefully for outstanding students in need within the region.”
