'How Great Would It Be If a Hobby Became a Startup'... Seodaemun-gu, Experiential Education from the 15th

Seodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seongheon) will conduct a "Youth Startup Experience Education" from the 15th of this month to the 3rd of next month to help young people develop their hobbies into startups.


The education topics include making handmade pet snacks, shampoo bars, woodworking, computer embroidery, pottery crafts, bookbinding, and organizing and storage. Depending on the subject, 1 to 6 sessions will be held at locations such as the Seodaemun Youth Startup Center, Hobakgol Village Workshop, and 5h Studio (pottery workshop) within the district.


Earlier, on the 14th of this month from 7 to 9 p.m., a special lecture titled "Zero Waste (Eliminating Trash) Practice Methods" will be held at Cafe Pokpo by Hongjecheon, inviting Julian Quintart, a Belgian-born broadcaster and environmental activist. A Q&A session will follow the lecture.


Lee Seongheon, Mayor of Seodaemun-gu, said, "I hope this education will be beneficial for young people to use their diverse interests as a foundation for startups."


This education is targeted at young people aged 39 or younger who live or are active in Seodaemun-gu. Those interested can apply by accessing the QR code on the promotional poster or by referring to the announcements on the Seodaemun-gu Office website.
