[Concall] SKT "Considering Using LTE Plans with 5G Devices"

At the Q3 earnings conference call held on the 8th, SK Telecom stated, "As the number of 5G subscribers increases, we are positively considering allowing LTE plans to be used on 5G devices and 5G plans to be used on LTE devices," adding, "Implementation is expected as early as November."

They continued, "With 5G having been introduced for four full years, the pace of subscriber growth has somewhat slowed but continues to show steady increases," and said, "We expect this trend to continue going forward."

Earlier, the Ministry of Science and ICT announced a 'communication cost relief plan' to allow LTE plans to be used on 5G devices.
