The Community Security Council of Wolgok 2-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, held a 'Warm Meal with Migrants' sharing event at a local restaurant on the 7th.
About 30 native and migrant residents participated, spending time communicating and harmonizing beyond cultural and language differences.
In particular, they discussed local issues such as revitalizing the local commercial district and social integration measures for native and migrant residents, forming a consensus.
Shin Jo-ya, representative of the Goryeoin Village, said, “We will take an interest in local issues and actively participate in social service so that the Goryeoin can stand tall as reliable neighbors in the local community.”
