- DL E&C's relentless efforts to enhance customers' quality of life
- Ranked No.1 in brand preference reflecting practical effectiveness
Recently, as housing demanders' expectations have risen due to increases in sale prices and issues with apartment construction technology, there has been a growing trend toward selecting verified construction companies. Homes that can practically enhance residential satisfaction are gaining popularity beyond just brand names or recognition.
A representative example is DL E&C's ‘e-Pyeonhansesang’. It is a leading domestic construction company that operates a systematic management system from the design and construction stages to advance apartment quality, and develops and applies various technologies to improve consumer satisfaction.
These efforts have resulted in numerous awards. For instance, e-Pyeonhansesang has ranked first in the smart apartment brand category for three consecutive years. This outcome is based on an analysis by the Biz Big Data Research Institute of brand preference reflecting the practical effectiveness of smart technology on the residential environment. They analyzed social media content from news, blogs, cafes, Instagram, Twitter, and other platforms, calculating and synthesizing indices based on content publishing, interaction, empathy, and positive mentions.
Among these, e-Pyeonhansesang ranked first in the publishing index, which measures the extent of news and social media postings; the empathy index, which measures consumers' emotional expressions toward the brand; and the positive index, which measures positive mentions of the brand. The overall reputation index also placed first. DL E&C attributes these results to the smart technology ‘Smart e-Life’ app, which consumers find genuinely useful.
In fact, DL E&C conducted a consumer residence behavior survey targeting about 1,000 e-Pyeonhansesang customers and found that one of the most desired features was ‘air quality management’. To enhance customer satisfaction, air quality sensors were installed inside units and throughout the complex from the construction stage. These sensors measure indoor and outdoor pollution levels and transmit real-time information to the Smart e-Life app. This enables residents to check and control detailed indoor air conditions and pollution levels, as well as outdoor air quality information of the complex. Currently, over 17,000 households use this app.
Additionally, DL E&C achieved an impressive second place in the 2023 National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI) survey for the apartment construction sector conducted by the Korea Productivity Center. The NCSI measures consumer satisfaction related to quality and service, and since 2020, DL E&C has consistently improved its ranking, receiving excellent evaluations not only for its brand but also for quality and responsiveness to customer VOC (Voice of Customer).
Meanwhile, new complexes built by DL E&C are attracting attention. ‘e-Pyeonhansesang Gunsan Diocean Luce’, currently being sold on a first-come, first-served basis in the Diocean City area of Gunsan, Jeonbuk, is supplied by DL E&C, which boasts a solid financial structure with the industry's highest credit rating (AA-) as of 2022, promising construction stability and brand premium. Furthermore, the lifestyle-customized residential platform ‘C2 House’ unique to e-Pyeonhansesang is being applied for the first time in Gunsan, along with advanced systems such as the fine dust reduction system ‘Smart Clean & Care Solution’. Some buildings feature a ‘curtain wall look’ exterior design to add symbolic value.
Various financial benefits are also provided to ease the burden on buyers. A full 60% interest-free benefit on interim payments is offered, so even if interest rates rise later, there is no impact on interest burden. Additionally, the contract deposit can be paid in three installments: 5 million KRW for the first, 15 million KRW for the second, and the remaining balance for the third. Especially, interest support is provided for the third installment, allowing buyers to secure their home with a total of 20 million KRW without worrying about additional costs until move-in. Since these benefits are offered for a limited time, demanders eager to seize the opportunity continue to visit.
Meanwhile, e-Pyeonhansesang Gunsan Diocean Luce consists of 8 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, with units sized from 84 to 155㎡, totaling 800 households. The housing exhibition hall is located in the Gyeongam-dong area of Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do, and move-in is scheduled for July 2025.
