Bucketplace, the operator of 'Ohouse,' announced on the 8th that CEO Lee Seungjae received the Rising Star award at the '2023 EY Entrepreneur of the Year' hosted by the global accounting and consulting firm EY Han Young.
The EY Entrepreneur of the Year award is given annually by EY to entrepreneurs who achieve business growth and lead innovation through relentless challenges and entrepreneurial spirit. It began in the United States in 1986 and is now held in about 60 countries and 145 cities worldwide. In Korea, it has been held since 2007, marking its 17th year this year.
The Rising Star category, which CEO Lee Seungjae won, is awarded to entrepreneurs who demonstrate outstanding financial performance in a short period and show potential for continuous growth. CEO Lee has been recognized for innovating the traditional interior industry through technology and leading domestic residential culture trends. He has pioneered sales channels for small business owners, supported online business capabilities, and created synergy with interior construction companies lacking platform infrastructure.
CEO Lee said, "Ohouse will continue to innovate to solve space-related problems not only in Korea but also for people around the world."
