During the same period, sales reached 24.6 billion KRW, a 36% increase from last year. Barrel has focused on strengthening product competitiveness, improving systems, reorganizing the organization, and enhancing management efficiency targeting the summer peak season amid the endemic (periodic outbreak of infectious diseases) transition this year. The company explained that as a result of concentrating on stable sales recovery through a product lineup centered on key items and aggressive supply volume, sales of water sports apparel and equipment significantly increased. The rise in overseas travel demand also had a positive impact on the performance rebound.

In addition, for the swim line products, Barrel increased brand awareness by supporting the Korean Swimming Federation as an official sponsor and providing goods to the national swimming team. A Barrel representative said, "We are achieving successful market responses by strategically conducting sports marketing activities such as sponsoring major sports events and national teams," adding, "Although the winter season is approaching, demand for water and swim products is steadily maintained, so we expect to continue the positive trend in the fourth quarter."
