Character content company Aurora World is hosting an event to donate toys worth 1.3 billion KRW to people with disabilities nationwide this year as well as last year, in celebration of Christmas and the year-end season.
An Aurora World representative stated, “This donation reflects Aurora World's commitment to social responsibility and the spread of a culture of sharing,” adding, “We expect it to bring warm emotions to many people.”
Aurora World plans to gift approximately 60,000 toys for boys and girls, totaling 1.3 billion KRW in prizes and giveaways, to people with disabilities from the 39th National Parents' Conference for People with Disabilities through the year-end. The gifts will be carefully delivered to people with disabilities living across the country through the Korea Parents Federation for People with Disabilities.
The Korea Parents Federation for People with Disabilities provides parents of people with disabilities with information on child-rearing and rehabilitation, and carries out various support projects to help their children live as rightful members of society. The gifts delivered through this event are expected to bring great joy and encouragement to children with disabilities and their parents.
Jae-yeon Noh, CEO of Aurora World, said, “Christmas and the year-end season are special times for everyone, and through this donation, we want to bring even a small joy to neighbors in need of love and care,” adding, “Aurora World will continue to realize social value through ongoing social contribution activities.”
