Ulsan Office of Education Fully Prepares for CSAT... Inspection of 26 Test Sites Completed

Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education inspected the preparation status of test site schools to ensure the stable administration of the 2024 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).

The Ulsan Office of Education formed an inspection committee and visited 26 general test sites where the CSAT will be held to check facilities, broadcasting, examination rooms, and test headquarters.

The inspection committee consisted of 10 members, including the Director and Supervisors of Secondary Education and officials from the Ministry of Education. They verified whether detailed plans for the test sites were established, as well as the placement plans for test sites and supervisors, and the support and inspection plans for broadcasting equipment at the test sites.

They also checked the procedures for transporting test booklets, storage facilities, methods for smoothly transporting question and answer sheets to the test sites, and the status of security measures such as the deployment of security personnel.

They confirmed the installation status of examinee waiting rooms, rooms for examinees requiring care, test sites conducting elective CSAT subjects, and mixed test sites for inquiry areas, along with the condition of broadcasting facilities for listening tests, the availability of independent power supply devices for blackout preparedness, and the provision of CD players.

Additionally, they reviewed noise prevention measures around the test sites and plans to prevent cheating, and examined whether test sites affected by natural disasters such as heavy rain had undergone detailed safety inspections, the results of such measures, and the securing of backup test sites.

The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education also plans to conduct separate inspections before the CSAT at one hospital test site (Ulsan Hospital) where general emergency patients will take the exam, following a separate plan.
