Establishment of the Job Committee for Comprehensive Job Policy Deliberation and Consultation... Declaration of Eunpyeong-gu Regional Job Measures in the 8th Local Government Term "Creating Sustainable Eunpyeong-type ESG Jobs"
Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it established the 'Job Committee' on the 1st to review and advise on job creation and employment support projects, and held its first regular meeting.
The Job Committee, composed of 10 members including experts in five job sectors?job policy, elderly, disabled, women, and youth?as well as directors in charge at Eunpyeong-gu, was established based on the 「Seoul Eunpyeong-gu Job Policy and Creation Ordinance」 enacted in July.
The Job Committee will discover job policies that Eunpyeong residents can feel directly, and will play a role in efficient coordination, advice, and evaluation of these policies.
This meeting included comprehensive advice and review on job performance by sector and next year's job project plans, policy proposals reflecting field demands, and was held concurrently with the declaration ceremony for Eunpyeong-gu’s regional job measures under the 8th local government administration.
The job measures declaration ceremony was conducted with Mayor Kim Mi-kyung, members of the Eunpyeong-gu Job Committee, and related departments.
From 2023 to 2026, the core vision is ‘Sustainable Eunpyeong-type ESG Job Creation,’ with a commitment to achieving the goal of creating 51,200 jobs.
Mayor Kim Mi-kyung of Eunpyeong-gu said, “Through the advice and proposals of the Job Committee, which will serve as a control tower in the job sector, we will do our best to create high-quality jobs that residents can feel.”
