The tenant companies said that by closely examining domestic and international ESG trends and difficulties in promoting ESG management, it was practically helpful in promoting detailed action tasks for ESG management.
The DGFEZ Authority established a plan this year to promote ESG management that embodies the values of Environment (E), Social (S), and Governance (G) that companies and institutions should pursue, and held a special lecture introducing the latest global ESG trends for tenant companies in May. Next year, a new tenant company ESG management consulting support project will be organized to assist companies interested in or planning to introduce ESG management.
Kim Byung-sam, Commissioner of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority, said, “It is meaningful to implement customized specialized education to strengthen the capabilities of tenant companies at a time when the need for sustainable ESG management is spreading both domestically and internationally. We will continue to carry out various support projects to solve problems faced by tenant companies.”
