Cho’s essay published last September, titled “I am Moving Forward Today as Well,” has gained high popularity, ranking on bestseller lists. The cover illustration of this essay is also known to have been drawn by Cho Min herself.

On the 28th of last month, Cho announced on her YouTube channel 'Jjomin' community notice, "I believe many people have been emotionally hurt by what happened around this time last year in Itaewon. I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families," adding, "I will not upload videos on Sunday (October 29) and Tuesday (October 31) to observe a mourning period. I will return from the 5th of next month."

Two days later, she posted a photo visiting Myeongdong Cathedral, saying, "I attended the 1st anniversary memorial mass for the Itaewon tragedy. I mourn together."
