Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, operated horticultural therapy education for local care recipients.
From the 25th of last month, the district conducted the education a total of four times at the Village Health Center located in the commercial area of Hanam Jugong 1 Complex in Usan-dong, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and aT Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation.
Each session was attended by about 20 people, including persons with disabilities and elderly living alone, who learned horticultural knowledge, made flower pots, and experienced a time of mental and physical healing.
