A New Era of Change, a Livable City Gangseo Where Everyone Enjoys Benefits Equally... Announcement of Five Major District Administration Goals Prioritizing Safety, Security, and Livelihood
Jin Gyo-hoon, Mayor of Gangseo District
Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) announced that the new slogan for the 8th term of the local government has been finalized as "A Future Added Together, Gangseo Shared Together."
"A Future Added Together, Gangseo Shared Together" signifies the intention to achieve future development based on the participation and cooperation of residents in this new era of change, creating a livable city where everyone equally enjoys various benefits such as housing, environment, education, welfare, and culture.
In particular, this slogan reflects Mayor Jin’s commitment to making Gangseo-gu the safest city where 570,000 residents can live with peace of mind, and to becoming a true public servant who prioritizes the livelihood of the people.
Along with this, the district announced five administrative goals to lead this new era of change.
The administrative goals are ▲ a balanced development city that nurtures value ▲ a safe and secure city comfortable for everyone ▲ a vibrant future economic city ▲ a welfare and health city where everyone is happy ▲ an educational and cultural city where dreams are pursued and enjoyed, which align with the five promises Mayor Jin announced in his inaugural speech.
The goals incorporate all of Mayor Jin’s pledges, including harmonious development between the old and new urban areas, realizing the safest city in Seoul, strengthening welfare for all residents, and advancing as the top district for safe care and future education.
The district plans to develop a BI (Brand Identity) design symbolizing the slogan and administrative goals, which will be used in various official documents and promotional materials to promote the district in diverse ways.
Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon stated, “In the 8th term, Gangseo-gu will develop further together with its residents, leading a livable city where all benefits are shared equally without anyone being left behind. We will serve the residents with humility, never losing our original intention, and create a Gangseo-gu where all 570,000 residents are happy.”
