Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk, has made it possible to vividly explore 12 major World Heritage sites on its website.
According to the county on the 2nd, the '7 World Heritage VR Virtual Travel' section on the Gochang Visit website officially launched service from this day.
The VR virtual travel consists of ▲Gochang-gun's geological park attractions (5 locations including Byeongbawi, Seonunsan (Cheonmabong, Maaebul, Jinheunggul)) ▲Mujanggi Fort ▲Dolmen Sites ▲Ramsar Gochang Mudflat Center ▲Gochang Pansori-related ▲Gochang Nongak-related ▲Biosphere Reserve-related 5 locations.
The realistic visuals create a feeling as if you are on-site, allowing you to immerse yourself in the wonders of the World Heritage.
A county official said, "We have developed a service utilizing virtual reality (VR), one of the core technologies of the 4th industrial revolution," adding, "We will continue to actively use various digital technologies to widely promote Gochang's beautiful natural scenery and brilliant historical culture."
