Korea Investment & Securities Hosts 'Happiness Sharing Children's Soccer Class'

Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, announced on the 1st that it held the 'Happiness Sharing Children's Soccer Class' together with the professional soccer team FC Seoul at the auxiliary field of Sangam World Cup Stadium on the 31st of last month.

The soccer class, resumed for the first time in four years since COVID-19, was attended by about 40 children from multicultural families in the Siheung area. Foreign players belonging to FC Seoul such as Ilyuchenko, Palosevich, Bion Jonsson, and Aiesh, along with youth specialist coaches, also participated to provide a special experience.

The children honed their basic soccer skills through various technical training and mini-games, and toured soccer-related facilities such as Seoul Sangam World Cup Stadium and Football Pentazium. Participating children also received various souvenirs including FC Seoul children's uniforms, sneakers, and sports bags as gifts.

Seo Dae-ho, Head of Corporate Culture at Korea Investment & Securities, said, "It is gratifying to see children and players happily participating in the soccer class, which was held for the first time in a long while since the COVID-19 pandemic," adding, "We will continue to provide ongoing support for the healthy growth and happiness of children."

Since 2011, Korea Investment & Securities has partnered with FC Seoul to hold the Happiness Sharing Children's Soccer Class every year except during the COVID-19 pandemic. The program aims to provide various cultural experience opportunities to youth and adolescents and support their future growth and independence.
