HCT announced on the 1st that it has secured a contract worth 8.2 billion KRW for the manufacturing of a calibration automation system from the Military Finance Management Group. The contract amount represents approximately 12.3% of the company's sales last year, and the contract period is two years, ending on October 31, 2025.
Calibration automation refers to the use of automated software to measure whether equipment deviates from specified parameters. Utilizing a calibration automation system can reduce human errors, provide consistent quality, and shorten calibration time, thereby increasing productivity. Additionally, since data is stored digitally, it lays the foundation for future digital transformation.
HCT, listed on KOSDAQ in 2016, is an international testing, certification, and calibration specialist institution that provides calibration services for the F-35 fighter jet of the global defense company Lockheed Martin. The company possesses top domestic technology in antenna calibration based on 5th generation mobile communication (5G), EMP protection testing equipment calibration, and automatic calibration software development. Recently, it has been expanding its entry into the global defense market, including registration in Boeing's supply chain.
