ScalarData Participates in Bluepoint Partners' 10th Demo Day
Scala Data Co., Ltd. (CEO Yoon Ye-chan), which operates the integrated electric vehicle charging infrastructure platform Modu-eui Charging, announced that it participated in the ‘Bluepoint Partners Demo Day 10, Atom vs Bit’ held on the 11th at the Textile Center Event Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The Bluepoint Demo Day is an event where insights related to the investment ecosystem can be gained, bringing together investors and stakeholders from various fields to foster exchange. Since its establishment in 2014, Bluepoint Partners has invested in 310 startups as of last month, supporting startups with growth potential and capabilities. The startups introduced at previous Demo Days have been recognized in the industry and have grown rapidly.
At the Demo Day held under the theme of which attempts among broadly defined deep tech such as AI and robotics will lead changes in daily life and industry, Scala Data was introduced in the electric vehicle sector and presented the services and innovations of Modu-eui Charging.
Modu-eui Charging is an integrated electric vehicle charging infrastructure platform used by 8.7 out of 10 domestic electric vehicle users. It has surpassed 500,000 cumulative app downloads and 70 million cumulative charging station guides. It solves the problem in the electric vehicle charging market where users must obtain multiple cards from different charging operators with a single ModuPay card.
Additionally, it provides services such as ‘Find Charging Station,’ which offers real-time locations and status of approximately 250,000 chargers nationwide, the on-demand charging service ‘Proxy Charging,’ and the vehicle remote management service ‘MyCar.’ Through roaming (partnership) agreements with leading charging operators (CPOs) such as GS Connect, GS Caltex, and Chargebee, it holds the largest domestic roaming network covering over 92% nationwide, establishing itself as an essential app for electric vehicle users.
Yoon Ye-chan, CEO of Scala Data, stated, “From the demand forecasting data-based DR solution for surplus power response to the tagless PnC charging payment solution that enables automatic payment inside the car, and the real-time data hub integrated control center, we plan to manage all charging data at once.” He added, “We will become the ONE & ONLY solution for the electric vehicle life.”
