Hwasa (real name Ahn Hye-jin, 28), a member of Mamamoo who was accused of indecent performance at a university festival, was also cleared of charges by the prosecution.
The Criminal Division 3 of the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Kim Hee-young) announced on the 31st that they reviewed the police's decision not to indict Hwasa on charges of public indecency and closed the case accordingly.
Earlier in June, the Student-Parent Human Rights Protection Coalition (Hak-in-yeon) filed a complaint with the police, claiming that Hwasa performed a provocative act on stage at the Sungkyunkwan University festival in May.
In response, the police decided on the 26th of last month that it was difficult to recognize criminal charges against Hwasa and dismissed the case without indictment.
