Italian luxury fashion brand Bottega Veneta is launching the ‘Gemelli’ bag, featuring practical designs showcased in the WINTER 2023 collection show.
Gemelli means “twins” in Italian, and as the name suggests, it consists of a pair of zipper-style half-moon shaped bags?one small and one large?that resemble each other. Crafted from soft Napa leather using the artisanal intrecciato weaving technique and finished with padded piping, the rounded shape design is further accentuated. Additionally, the house’s signature “nott” detail connects the dual compartments, adding an elegant charm.
The detachable tubular shoulder strap enhances comfort and practicality, and the smaller compartment can be worn over the shoulder or styled in various ways such as a clutch.
The Gemelli bag is available in two sizes: medium and large. The medium size comes in black and travertine, while the large size is offered in fondant and white.
Meanwhile, the exclusive campaign for the new Gemelli bag, released on October 26, features actor Seo Gi, who was appointed as Bottega Veneta’s global ambassador. Actress Julianne Moore was also spotted wearing the Gemelli bag in everyday life, drawing attention.
