District Mayor Mun Heon-il Visits 16 Neighborhoods from October 30 to November 23 to Hear Residents' Opinions, Attend Key Site Visits and Local Events, Committed to Making Each Dong a Happy Guro
Moon Heon-il, head of Guro District Office, is visiting the site in Oryu 2-dong and having a conversation with residents.
Moon Heon-il, the mayor of Guro-gu, has begun his visits to the neighborhoods.
Mayor Moon will start the 'Mayor's Neighborhood Walk' from October 30 to November 23.
Guro-gu announced, "To listen to the voices of residents and seek field-centered solutions, Mayor Moon Heon-il will visit 16 neighborhoods within the district."
Each neighborhood will arrange opportunities to communicate with various residents such as volunteers, daycare centers, participants of resident autonomy programs, welfare centers for the disabled, and parents.
Additionally, Mayor Moon Heon-il plans to visit key project and civil complaint sites to seek practical solutions and attend events held in each neighborhood, such as senior citizen parties and kimchi sharing events.
As the first step of the walk, Mayor Moon visited Oryu 2-dong on the 30th. He talked with residents including volunteers at the small library and inspected the Seohae Grandble Apartment to Seohaean-ro road construction project site and illegal dumping sites.
The next neighborhood walk schedule is as follows: △ October 31 - Gaebong 2-dong △ November 1 - Hang-dong △ November 2 - Guro 1-dong △ November 3 - Gaebong 3-dong △ November 6 - Gaebong 1-dong △ November 7 - Gocheok 1-dong △ November 8 - Guro 2-dong △ November 9 - Gocheok 2-dong △ November 10 - Guro 4-dong △ November 13 - Sugung-dong △ November 14 - Oryu 1-dong △ November 16 - Garibong-dong △ November 17 - Guro 3-dong △ November 22 - Guro 5-dong △ November 23 - Sindorim-dong.
Guro-gu has completed 59 out of 164 proposals raised during the neighborhood New Year's meetings held earlier this year and is currently properly pursuing 53 cases. Projects requiring long-term review or difficult to implement are being reconsidered with alternative plans and multi-angle reviews.
Mayor Moon Heon-il stated, "I always try to prioritize residents' proposals," and added, "During this neighborhood walk as well, I will listen carefully to residents' voices and do my best to reflect them in district administration."
