Exergy Solutions, a specialized subsidiary of Exergy21 in the unmanned aerial vehicle business, announced on the 30th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Anti-Drone Industry Association (KADIA) to advance anti-drone system development.
Both organizations plan to collaborate on continuous research and development in anti-drone related technology fields. They agreed to actively cooperate to analyze the latest technological trends, respond proactively to domestic and international market changes, and achieve successful outcomes.
The Korea Anti-Drone Industry Association is an anti-drone sector association authorized by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Founded in January this year, led by Professor Yang Byung-hee (Retired Major General) of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), the association is promoting the expansion of defense sector participation by various member companies, not only in anti-drone technology but also in other areas.
Exergy Solutions is conducting an AI (artificial intelligence)-based anti-drone business in partnership with Fortem Technologies, a U.S. company with top industry technology.
An Exergy Solutions representative expressed the aspiration, stating, "Through organic cooperation between the two organizations, we aim not only to produce tangible results but also to develop into a leading company in the domestic anti-drone industry."
A representative from the Korea Anti-Drone Industry Association said, "KADIA is planning various support measures to enable the military, academia, and industry to jointly establish an integrated anti-drone system. This agreement is also one of those support measures, and we will actively support the advancement of Exergy Solutions' anti-drone technology by utilizing KADIA's excellent infrastructure."
Meanwhile, Exergy Solutions participated in the Republic of Korea Power Support System Exhibition 'DUPEX KOREA 2023' held at Seoul Airport, showcasing the excellence of its flagship products, the net capture-type DroneHunter®F700 and the TrueView®R30 Radar, as part of the SkyDome® System, accelerating its efforts to secure a leading position in the anti-drone market.
