Samsung Electronics announced that it will launch the special edition 'Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro' in South Korea on the 1st of next month.
The 'Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro' is a product inspired by the so-called Benz phone 'SGH-E700,' which gained tremendous popularity for its outstanding design and performance when it was released in 2003. The 'SGH-E700,' equipped with a built-in antenna to enhance portability, played a significant role in advancing Samsung Electronics' mobile phone business, selling over ten million units.

Samsung Electronics plans to deliver its innovative DNA, carried on since its founding, to customers in an engaging way by incorporating various features reminiscent of the 'SGH-E700' into the 'Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro.'
First, it includes ▲ an exterior in indigo blue and silver colors ▲ a screen theme that reinterprets pixel graphics widely used in the 2000s ▲ and a Flex Window-exclusive animation expressing the cityscape with a retro vibe.
Additionally, the exclusive package contains three FlipSuit cards featuring era-specific logos showcasing Samsung Electronics' history, a FlipSuit case, and a collector card engraved with a serial number to enhance the collectible value for limited edition buyers.
The 'Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro' will be released with 512GB storage. It can be purchased through Samsung.com and Samsung Gangnam. The price is 1,599,400 KRW. Starting November 1st, it will be sold in limited quantities in six countries: South Korea, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, and Australia.
To commemorate the launch of the 'Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro,' Samsung Electronics will set up an exhibition space at the 'Samsung Gangnam' store from November 1st. Also, in collaboration with the secondhand trading platform 'Bungaejangter,' Samsung will hold the 'Samsung Universe' event at the complex cultural space 'Y173' located in Seongsu-dong from November 1st to 5th, where visitors can richly experience Samsung's innovation story along with the 'Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro.'
