A lumpy skin disease outbreak in Muan, Jeonnam has triggered an emergency response for quarantine measures.

On the 29th, according to the county, a viral infectious disease called 'lumpy skin disease' occurred at a Korean cattle farm, prompting the formation of a Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters and a full-scale response to prevent further spread, including culling according to the emergency standard operating procedures (SOP).

After a suspected case was reported on the 28th, samples were collected through quarantine authorities, and following detailed testing, a confirmed diagnosis was made on the morning of the 29th.
