Galleria Department Store announced on the 26th that it will showcase the Italian fashion brand ‘Save The Duck’ pop-up at its Seoul Luxury Hall until the 19th.
Save The Duck, launched in 2012, is a vegan brand that practices 100% animal-free (excluding animal-derived materials) and cruelty-free (no animal abuse or exploitation) principles, true to its name meaning ‘saving ducks.’ All of its padded products use the brand’s proprietary new material PLUMTECH as the main filling instead of animal feathers.
Prices are reasonably set at 200,000 to 400,000 KRW for lightweight padding and 300,000 to 600,000 KRW for long padding. The newly launched vegan padding line for pets called the ‘Hilla’ line, released earlier this year, has received positive responses.
A representative from Hanwha Galleria stated, “Interest in sustainable fashion brands is steadily increasing,” adding, “Save The Duck aligns with recent eco-friendly fashion trends through its concern for animal welfare and use of recycled materials.”
