Anyang City Selects 9 Outstanding Companies... Generous Benefits Including Tax Audit Deferrals

Anyang City in Gyeonggi Province has selected nine outstanding companies, including Geo2 Information Technology Co., Ltd.

Anyang City announced on the 25th that it has selected nine excellent companies in Anyang City to revitalize the local economy and boost the morale of businesspeople: Geo2 Information Technology Co., Ltd., Mirae Marine Co., Ltd., Innostec Co., Ltd., Iway Co., Ltd., Y&S Electronics Co., Ltd., Gidurami Environmental Tech Co., Ltd., Daehan Power Electronics Co., Ltd., Talos Co., Ltd., and Geumseong Co., Ltd.

Anyang City conducted document reviews and on-site inspections, and the Corporate Support Deliberation Committee comprehensively evaluated management performance, technology quality, working environment, exports and employment, and contributions to the local community to select outstanding companies.

Anyang City will hold a certificate awarding ceremony and plaque installation for outstanding companies in November.

Since 2006, Anyang City has annually selected and announced outstanding companies according to related ordinances to discover companies that contribute to the development of local industries and have excellent growth potential and technological levels, and to support their growth.

The criteria for selecting outstanding companies are businesses operating in the jurisdiction for more than two years with sales of 5 billion KRW or more and 20 or more employees.

Anyang City provides various benefits to outstanding companies for three years, including preferential interest subsidies for small and medium enterprise development funds, exemption from local tax audits, discounts on public parking fees, and additional points when participating in city corporate support projects.

Mayor Choi Dae-ho of Anyang City promised, "We will actively support to enhance the competitiveness of Anyang City companies and become a pillar of the local economy."
