GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 24th that the sales of the "Bredique Autumn Night Fresh Cream Bread," launched on the 12th as an autumn seasonal bakery menu, have surpassed 200,000 units.
The news of the autumn seasonal fresh cream bread made with chestnuts sparked a buzz on SNS and other platforms, quickly becoming a hit product selling about 20,000 units daily right after its release.
The Autumn Night Fresh Cream Bread is a product completed by filling fresh cream and chestnut paste that richly capture the flavor of chestnuts, a delicacy of the autumn season, with the most notable feature being the significantly enhanced pleasant sweetness unique to chestnuts. The price is 3,200 won.
GS25 has decided to regularly operate more than two products in its lineup of about eight fresh cream breads as seasonal items using seasonal ingredients. Previously, two seasonal fresh cream breads using summer fruits, the Flat Peach Fresh Cream Bread and Gochang Watermelon Fresh Cream Bread, each sold over one million units, showing great success. Thanks to this, fresh cream bread sales this year have increased up to 9.2 times (821.2%) compared to last year.
GS25 is conducting a 1+1 event for customers purchasing any of the eight fresh cream bread varieties via GS Pay and other methods until the end of this month.
