Busan Gijang-gun Holds Job Fair ... Resolving Job Mismatch Issues

Busan Gijang-gun will hold the ‘2023 Gijang-gun Job Fair’ in the lobby on the first floor of the county office from 1 PM to 5 PM on the 26th.

This event was held under the slogan ‘Talent Up (業) Go!! Job Catch (Job) Go!’ and focuses on providing recruitment opportunities for companies experiencing labor shortages and employment opportunities for job seekers hoping to find work.

The event will provide a meeting place where employers and job seekers can conduct one-on-one on-site interviews, and recruitment booths, promotional booths, and auxiliary event booths will be operated.

About 50 local companies selected through prior recruitment will participate directly or indirectly, conducting recruitment consultations and on-site interviews for job seekers on the day of the event and hiring local talent.

In addition, employment-related organizations such as the Busan Eastern Employment Center, Busan Economic Promotion Agency, Korea Polytechnics VII University Dongbusan Campus, and Gijang Women’s New Work Center will participate in the event to provide various job information and employment support services in a one-stop manner.

To support job seekers’ employment success, auxiliary events such as ▲resume writing ▲ID photo shooting ▲personal color diagnosis ▲succulent plant experience ▲psychological support services ▲interviewee coffee coupon provision will also be prepared. However, the succulent plant experience and interviewee coffee coupons are limited in quantity and may close early.

Anyone who wishes to seek employment or local residents who want to participate in the event can join, and online pre-registration (job seeking) is available on the job fair website, or on-site visits on the day of the event are also possible.

Jung Jong-bok, the head of Gijang-gun, said, “I hope this event will help companies find excellent talent and job seekers find quality jobs, resolving the job mismatch problem,” and added, “We will continue to hold various recruitment events to bring a warm breeze to the frozen job market.”
