The remix version of "Slow Dancing," a solo song by V (Kim Taehyung) of the group BTS, was released on the 23rd.
According to his agency Big Hit Music, at 1 p.m. KST on the same day, V released two versions of the solo album Layover's title track "Slow Dancing": the "FRNK Remix" and the "Cautious Clay Remix."
The names of the two remix versions are derived from the producers and DJs who produced each track: producer and DJ FRNK (Park Jinsu) and American producer and singer-songwriter Cautious Clay.
The FRNK Remix features Afro rhythms that create a lively atmosphere that naturally makes listeners move to the beat. The Cautious Clay Remix was reborn as an instrumental track focusing on the sounds of instruments such as flute, keyboard, and drums, delivering both vibrancy and uniqueness.
Along with the audio tracks, V also released the music video for "Slow Dancing (FRNK Remix)." The video offers a fresh perspective with scenes not included in the original music video and behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot. Animations are also inserted intermittently. Big Hit Music introduced, "In the new music video, V revealed various charms, from being fully immersed in the shoot to playful expressions."
Since the release of Layover on the 8th of last month, V has been actively engaging in various activities. "Slow Dancing" proved its immense popularity by entering the US Billboard main singles chart Hot 100 at number 51 (as of September 23).
