Hancom Inc. will conduct a closed beta test (CBT) of 'Hancom Docs AI,' which combines generative artificial intelligence (AI) to enable document creation and editing, starting from the 23rd.
This CBT will target 1,000 selected applicants from those who applied in advance. Until November 27, participants will experience mission events such as using templates and document creation, as well as surveys.
Hancom Docs AI features six types of AI templates frequently used by office workers and university students, including resumes, official documents, and project proposals, to enhance work productivity. By entering the topic and key content and selecting the desired template, the document is automatically generated according to the chosen format. For example, when writing a self-introduction letter, appropriate content for each section such as 'growth process,' 'motivation for application,' and 'strengths and weaknesses of personality' is generated and applied to the document.
It offers various AI functions including style change that automatically adjusts the tone to suit the context, such as formal or informal language, as well as ▲sentence generation ▲draft writing ▲table of contents creation ▲image generation ▲continuation ▲translation ▲spell check ▲document summarization. Sentences, tables of contents, images, and other elements created using these features can be immediately applied to the document, improving work efficiency and convenience.
Hancom utilizes various large language models (LLMs) such as generative AI technologies ChatGPT, HyperCLOVA X, and DALL-E. Hancom developed Hancom Docs AI by applying its own technologies, including an AI hub software development kit (SDK) that efficiently connects multiple LLMs with electronic documents, and a chatbot SDK. Based on document data and user feedback obtained through this CBT, Hancom plans to enhance the features and prepare for the official launch.
Jihwan Jung, Hancom’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), said, "Hancom Docs AI combines AI technology specialized for documents with LLMs to enable anyone to easily create documents, which will dramatically increase work speed and efficiency. Moving forward, we will strengthen competitiveness by providing differentiated usability, such as adding personalized AI features based on user data."
