Among these, the three Hanwoo farms in Buseok-myeon, Seosan-si, Chungnam, and the dairy farm in Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi, are all adjacent to farms where confirmed cases were previously reported. To prevent the spread of Lumpy Skin Disease, the CARH dispatched initial quarantine teams and epidemiological investigation units to these farms to control access.
Additionally, the cattle raised at each farm will be culled according to emergency action guidelines. Approximately 300 cattle are raised across the five farms.
