On the 19th, Cho uploaded a photo of a hotel swimming pool in Phu Quoc, a Vietnamese resort, on Instagram, writing, "The Phu Quoc accommodation where everything was perfect. I wanted to live here." She also added the hashtag #PaidAdvertisement. The post was an advertisement for the hotel.

Supporters showered her with praise, commenting, "She looks tall and beautiful like the former minister," "A complete model," and "Everyday life looks like a photoshoot."

On the following day, the 20th, Cho addressed the submission of a statement to the court acknowledging allegations of admission fraud, stating on Instagram, "My position has not changed."

She rebutted, saying, "I want to speak out against the flood of articles before the trial claiming 'changing stance to admit everything considering sentencing.'"

Cho explained, "During the prosecution investigation, 1. I testified that I was not involved in the creation process of the career verification documents, and 2. I admitted submitting the career verification documents despite knowing that their contents did not exactly match my activities."

She continued, "Subsequently, the prosecution did not indict on point 1 but only on point 2," emphasizing, "The already admitted point 2 is stated in the indictment, and I acknowledged that charge."

Furthermore, she appealed, "It is regrettable that the written materials prepared for the trial are being indiscriminately leaked and even distorted in reports."

On the 13th, Cho submitted a statement to the presiding court acknowledging the charges and agreeing with the evidence. It was reported that the statement argued that the prosecution's indictment constituted an abuse of prosecutorial rights and that the charges should be dismissed.
