Alsquare announced on the 20th that it has been included among the participating companies in the economic delegation accompanying President Yoon Suk-yeol on his state visit to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, scheduled for 4 nights and 6 days starting from the 21st. The Korea Economic Association (hereinafter referred to as KEA) announced the list of 139 companies participating in the economic delegation the day before.

Lee Yong-gyun, CEO of Alsquare, will attend the Saudi Arabia (hereinafter Saudi) Investment Forum and MOU signing ceremony, the 50th anniversary ceremony of Korea-Saudi construction cooperation, the Qatar Business Forum and MOU signing ceremony, among others. He will also participate in trade consultations hosted by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).

Large-scale projects ordered by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, which are backed by oil capital, are considered development projects that will determine the future business opportunities for domestic companies. A representative example is the ‘NEOM City’ new city project, which the Saudi government is promoting with an investment of $500 billion over an area of 26,500 km² in northwestern Saudi Arabia.

Despite the global economic slowdown, Alsquare is seeking new business opportunities in the Middle East, where large infrastructure development projects are underway. A representative from Alsquare said, "We aim to find new business opportunities in the Middle East, the ‘land of opportunity’ where large projects are progressing, by leveraging our competitiveness in data and services," adding, "This will serve as a foundation for growing into Asia’s top commercial real estate service."

In June, Alsquare attended the Korea-Vietnam Business Forum and MOU signing ceremony hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In May, it participated in the ‘Korea-Saudi Mobility & Innovation Roadshow,’ an event organized to promote Korea’s construction, smart city, mobility, and IT capabilities in Saudi Arabia.

Alsquare also signed an MOU for ‘Proptech Innovation Technology Exchange and Cooperation’ with the global project management organization PMI-KSA (Project Management Institute-Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). In April, it accompanied President Yoon’s economic delegation to the United States, introducing Alsquare’s business and future strategies to local companies and investment firms, and seeking opportunities for global market entry and investment.
