Seoul Shilla Hotel announced on the 20th that its snap photo service, which allows guests to capture memorable photos with autumn foliage as the backdrop, is gaining popularity among those enjoying an autumn vacation.
Seoul Shilla Hotel’s snap photo service, ‘Our Memories,’ which was newly introduced last spring, has become known as a ‘unique service that must be experienced.’ Despite increasing the number of sessions more than fourfold compared to April due to customer demand, it remains so popular that it often sells out, reflecting high satisfaction.
To fully embrace the vivid autumn colors, Seoul Shilla Hotel has upgraded the snap photo service by adding two new shooting locations. Guests will be guided to shoot near the octagonal pavilion, which showcases traditional beauty alongside the beautifully colored foliage, as well as in front of the lobby fountain.
Guests who use the service check in early at 12 PM and have a detailed consultation with a professional photographer to decide on the shooting locations and compositions. The photo shoot lasts about 30 minutes at 2 to 3 agreed-upon spots. Depending on the desired concept, guests can choose from locations such as the autumn foliage spots, the rear garden of the Yeongbingwan that highlights traditional Korean beauty, the second floor of the main hotel building where the chandelier ‘Combination’ by artist Park Seon-gi is prominently displayed, and the sculpture park, all in consultation with the professional photographer.
After retouching, guests receive one 5X7 frame and one 8X10 frame at checkout, and upon request, the photo files can be emailed for free use on SNS and other platforms.
‘Urban Island,’ where guests can enjoy a unique autumn swim while overlooking Namsan’s autumn foliage, is also a great way to savor the season. Urban Island features a heated pool maintained at 32?34°C and a ‘Poolside Heating Zone’ with heated sunbeds, making it one of the few outdoor pools in a city hotel to operate until late autumn. Visitors can enjoy water activities without worrying about the cold thanks to the enveloping warmth.
On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays in October, live jazz performances take place at Urban Island. From 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM near the kids’ pool where a special stage is set up, jazz music adds to the autumn ambiance, and cocktails made with the premium vodka ‘Grey Goose’ are served during this time.
In line with this, Seoul Shilla Hotel has launched the ‘Our Memories in Autumn I, II’ packages to help guests fully enjoy Namsan’s autumn. Both packages include a one-night stay, snap photo service for two, and early check-in at 12 PM to prepare for the shoot. Our Memories in Autumn I includes all-day admission for two to Urban Island, while Our Memories in Autumn II offers a food and beverage credit of 50,000 KRW usable during the stay. Our Memories in Autumn I is available until November 26, the closing date of Urban Island’s season, and Our Memories in Autumn II is available until November 30.
