Daegu Yeungnam Polytechnic College Hosts 'Job Fair'... 35 Companies to Recruit 200 People

The Daegu Regional Employment and Labor Office (Director Kim Gyuseok) will hold the "2023 Daegu·Gyeongbuk Job Fair" at 2 p.m. on the 26th at Yeungnam Polytechnic University in Nam-gu, Daegu, in collaboration with related organizations to provide job seekers with employment opportunities and enable companies to hire the necessary talent in a timely manner.


This fair is jointly hosted by eight organizations including the Daegu Employment and Labor Office, Daegu City, Daegu·Gyeongbuk Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, Daegu·Gyeongbuk Regional Military Manpower Administration, Daegu Regional Veterans Office, Daegu Gyeongbuk Employment Welfare Research Institute, Daegu·Gyeongbuk Advanced·Venture Business Association, and Korea Industrial Complex. It aims to introduce excellent small and medium-sized enterprises to local youth and provide a venue for direct meetings between employers and job seekers, offering various job opportunities and recruitment information.

Thirty-five companies from Daegu, including leading firms such as SL, Kyungchang Industry, Ajin Industry, Megagen Implant, and secondary battery company L&F, will participate, planning to hire about 200 people across various positions such as office work, technical skills, sales, production, and industrial technical personnel (supplementary military service). On-site interviews and resume submissions will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.


Side events will include a policy information booth, employment support booth, and other event booths. The policy information booth will promote policies of the hosting organizations, while the employment support booth will provide consultations on application documents and interviews, as well as employment consulting tailored to different groups. Additionally, various activities such as free resume photo shoots, vocational psychological tests, image making, and personal color analysis are prepared.


The Daegu Employment Welfare+ Center is also conducting the "Enterprise and Job Seeker Leap Guarantee Package" project. This project comprehensively provides employment services to job seekers facing difficulties finding jobs and companies experiencing recruitment challenges.


The "Enterprise Leap Guarantee Package" identifies local companies with recruitment difficulties and offers services such as diagnosing recruitment obstacles according to company circumstances, consulting on improving working conditions, and customized talent matching services. The "Job Seeker Leap Guarantee Package" discovers job seekers who are willing but struggling to find employment, analyzes individual job competencies through resume and self-introduction consulting, and provides customized in-depth counseling and suitable job matching services by career stage through dedicated counselors as a package.


Companies and job seekers wishing to participate in the "Enterprise and Job Seeker Leap Guarantee Package" can receive various services upon selection through the Daegu Employment Welfare+ Center.
