GC Green Cross Wellbeing Launches Health Functional Food 'Wigeongang-en Greensera Capsule'

GC Green Cross Wellbeing announced on the 19th that it has launched the individually recognized health functional food product, 'Wihealthen Greensera Capsule.'

Wihealthen Greensera Capsule is a health functional food containing the individually recognized functional ingredient certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, 'Greensera-F (Lonicera japonica flower bud extract).' It is explained that the key component 'Secoxyloganin,' extracted in minute amounts from the 100% plant-based Greensera-F, protects the gastric mucosa and helps maintain stomach health.

The company stated that in 2020, it completed a human application trial of Greensera-F on Koreans and confirmed its functionality in 'improving gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, heartburn, and acid reflux in adults with indigestion.' They also added that as a plant-based small capsule product, it reduces digestive burden in the body, making absorption easier and swallowing more comfortable.

A GC Green Cross Wellbeing representative said, “To meet the diverse consumer demands, we expanded the product lineup to two types by adding plant-based capsules to the existing liquid gel type product,” and added, “We hope people conveniently take care of their stomach health from various everyday causes that threaten stomach health during the upcoming year-end and New Year season.”
