Gochang-gun to Hold Art Association Members Exhibition at Culture Hall Until the 31st

Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk, along with the Gochang branch of the Gochang Art Association (Branch Chief Kwon Ae-ran), is holding the Gochang Art Association Members' Exhibition at the Gochang Cultural Center Exhibition Hall until the 31st.

According to the county on the 18th, the 34th Gochang Art Association Exhibition this year is an event where about 90 members of the Gochang Art Association display their most carefully created works throughout the year in various categories such as Western painting, crafts, pottery and wood carving, sculpture and photography, and calligraphy.

On the 17th, a commemorative ceremony for the Gochang Art Association members' exhibition was held at the exhibition hall of the Gochang Culture Center.

The first part exhibits calligraphy, literati painting, and crafts until the 23rd, while the second part showcases Western painting, pottery, wood carving, sculpture, and photography. In particular, many visitors are expected to visit the exhibition hall in conjunction with the 50th Moyangseong Festival held on the 19th.

At the commemorative ceremony held at 5 p.m. on the first day of the exhibition, many guests, including Shim Deok-seop, the governor of Gochang-gun, and Im Jeong-ho, the chairman of the Gochang County Council, attended to celebrate this association exhibition.

Branch Chief Kwon Ae-ran said, “This exhibition was prepared to inspire the hometown love and identity as artists of the artists active in Gochang,” and added, “Admission is free, so we hope many residents and tourists visit and enjoy the diverse works.”

Governor Shim Deok-seop said, “I thank Branch Chief Kwon Ae-ran of the Art Association and the members for providing the opportunity for cultural enjoyment by exhibiting beautiful works for the residents to experience and appreciate,” and added, “This exhibition will be a beautiful artistic venue in Gochang, a healing cultural city filled with rest and comfort.”
