Promoting Ewha Shopping District Revitalization, Restaurant Opened on 1st Floor of a Building in Ewha Shopping District on October 26
Featuring Bulgarian-style Tteokgalbi 'Kyufte', Korean Beef Brisket Oven Steak, Drink Yogurt, and More
Seodaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Seongheon) will hold the third "Star Chef Pop-up Restaurant" this month by inviting Chef Mikael from Bulgaria, following June's "Chef Hong Shinae's Italian Restaurant" and July's "Chef Yeo Kyungrae and Disciples."
This event, planned as part of revitalizing the Ewha Womans University commercial district, will feature a pop-up store on the first floor of a building in the Ewha commercial area (35 Ewha Womans University 3-gil) from 4 PM to 9 PM on the 26th of this month.
Chef Mikael, widely known for appearing on the TV program "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator," will offer Bulgarian-style grilled meat patties called "Kyufte," Korean beef brisket oven steak, and drinkable yogurt with excellent cost-effectiveness.
Chef Mikael plans to donate a portion of the sales through the Community Chest of Korea to vulnerable households within Seodaemun-gu, adding meaningfulness to the event.
Applications for participation will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 9 AM on the 18th. Interested individuals can select the time, number of people, and menu online and pay a reservation deposit.
Although some seats will be available for walk-ins, making a reservation is recommended for convenience.
The district office will distribute free parking tickets for users of the pop-up restaurant to use the Sinchon Station parking lot (floors 3 to 5).
District Mayor Lee Seongheon said, "We expect that the ongoing Star Chef Pop-up Restaurant events will increase the recognition and vitality of the Ewha commercial district."
