Nobelpia's 'Yongsa Party Ttaeryeochwomida' Webtoon Adaptation Achieves Top Rankings on Japan's Piccoma

The webtoon "I Quit the Hero Party" (produced by Studio One Pick), based on the popular web novel "勇者パ?ティ?やめます。" originally published on the web novel platform Novelpia operated by Metacraft Co., Ltd., is gaining great popularity by ranking high in the SMARTOON section of Kakao Piccoma's digital comic platform.

"Piccoma" is a digital comic platform that holds over 50% market share in the Japanese app market and ranks number one worldwide among comic apps (according to data.ai). The webtoon production studio Studio One Pick launched the webtoon of the same name, based on Novelpia's web novel "I Quit the Hero Party," on Japan's Piccoma on October 1st.

The webtoon adaptation of "I Quit the Hero Party" has been attracting attention since its launch, recording over one million hearts. Readers of Novelpia JP have responded, "I enjoyed reading the novel on Novelpia JP, so I’m excited that it has been adapted into a comic," and "The fresh theme on Piccoma is interesting, and I want to read the next episode quickly."

The webtoon "I Quit the Hero Party," produced by Studio One Pick, is based on the popular web novel by author NariaTa, which has surpassed 17 million cumulative views on Novelpia. Thanks to its popularity in Korea, the original web novel has been adapted and introduced on Novelpia JP, where it is a top-ranking work.

A Metacraft representative stated, "Along with 'I Quit the Hero Party,' which has been launched on Piccoma, the webtoon adaptations of popular web novels serialized on Novelpia are actively progressing. We plan to pay even more attention to creating works that showcase different charms and fun from the web novels, satisfying not only new readers but also original fans. We will strive to continue OSMU (One Source Multi Use) in various directions, including webtoons, dramas, and movies, by utilizing web novel IPs with diverse potential."
