Edutech Company Riiid's Paper Accepted at Global AI Conference 'NeurIPS'

AI Edutech company 'Riiid' announced on the 12th that its paper was accepted at the world-renowned AI conference 'NeurIPS 2023.'

This year, Riiid has published a total of five AI papers in global conferences. Papers were accepted at CVPR (Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition), a conference in the field of computer vision; ACL, in the field of computational linguistics; Interspeech, a speech AI conference; and now NeurIPS, in the field of machine learning.

NeurIPS 2023, held from December 10 to 16 in New Orleans, USA, will feature various sessions including academic research paper presentations and workshops. Riiid's research results were selected for the main track, providing an opportunity for presentation.

The paper accepted this time by Riiid aims to optimize the training process of diffusion models that generate images using AI, proposing a methodology that achieves much higher performance with the same model size even under GPU-limited conditions.

The method presented in the paper demonstrated that it is possible to maintain the size of diffusion models while more effectively enhancing the performance of generative models.

The Riiid research team stated, "Generally, corporate research achievements are mostly conducted through industry-academia collaboration, but we accomplished this entirely within our company's AI research team." They added, "We will strive to apply Riiid's innovative AI technologies to products so that more people can experience and utilize the latest AI technologies in real life."
